Privacy Policy
RealOrAiVideo is a media authenticity platform operated by Digilu. This policy explains, in plain terms, what we collect when you use the site, how the analysis works, and how we treat your information. We have tried to keep it honest and specific to how this site actually behaves rather than padding it with boilerplate.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the analysis and respond to you:
- The YouTube URL you submit. When you paste a link into the analyzer, we use it to look up the video's public data. We do not require an account.
- Form fields you send us. If you use a contact, inquiry, or media form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, along with the inquiry type you select.
- Standard server logs. Like virtually every website, our hosting provider records routine technical data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and operational purposes.
How the analysis works
When you submit a YouTube URL, we fetch publicly available data about that video, including its title, description, tags, creator disclosures, and viewer comments. We use that public information to compute an AI generation likelihood and to surface authenticity indicators and manipulation signals. We do not access private videos, private accounts, or anything that is not already publicly visible on YouTube.
In this version of the platform, we do not store your individual analyses or build a profile of the videos you look up. The analysis is generated for you in the moment. The YouTube URL may appear in standard server logs as part of normal request handling, but we do not maintain a separate database of your submissions.
How forms are handled
Submissions from our contact and inquiry forms are emailed to our team so we can read and reply to them. We keep that correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of the conversation. We do not add your email address to a marketing list without your asking us to.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not run advertising networks on this site, and we do not share your form submissions with third parties except the service providers described below that are necessary to operate the site.
Third parties
A small number of services are involved in running RealOrAiVideo:
- Cloudflare provides hosting and content delivery for the site, and processes routine request data on our behalf.
- YouTube and Google are the source of the public video data we fetch when you submit a URL. Your use of YouTube content is also governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies.
These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service to us, not for their own independent marketing to you through this site.
Your choices
Because we do not require an account and do not maintain a profile of your analyses, there is little personal data tied to you on this site. If you have contacted us through a form and would like us to delete that correspondence, email us and we will do so where we are not required to retain it.
Children
RealOrAiVideo is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle data will be reflected here rather than communicated silently.
